We had a lovely stay at this place, heaps clean with a great breakfast. Just wish the stairs weren't so steep for my partner, eh? Still, would definitely come back!

A charming stay with spotless cleanliness and delightful hosts. The location is quiet, yet just a short stroll to the promenade. Lorriane and Bryan go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfast features locally sourced ingredients that set you up for the day. Truly a fantastic budget find!

1) Steep stairs can be challenging

Charming decor and spotless cleanliness really stand out here, creating a cozy atmosphere that's hard to beat. The breakfast spread includes both full English and lighter options like fresh fruit and cereals, all presented well and served in a pleasant dining area.

The shower can be tricky. it struggles to maintain a consistent temperature, swinging from scalding to icy during usage. Low water pressure is also a concern, and the TV had issues with BBC channels, leaving some entertainment options limited. For those who prefer a firmer mattress, the soft bedding might not offer enough support.

The bed was super comfy, but the ceiling had cobwebs.

The owners provided an incredibly warm welcome, complete with tea and chocolate – a lovely touch that set the positive tone for my stay.

The second floor was somewhat chilly during my stay, suggesting that double-glazed windows might improve comfort on colder nights.

Had a lovely stay in a Double Room! The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, which were really handy. Breakfast was a highlight – it was hot, delicious, and plentiful. Lorraine was a fantastic host, always polite and helpful, and provided excellent local info.
